We are raising money in Poppy’s memory via our ‘Just Giving’ page.

Rather than receive flowers, Poppy would have much preferred for you to donate and help other families who are put into difficulties via the horrible affects of cancer.

We really hope that some of you, especially the young people, who are moved by what happened to our beautiful Poppy, will want to organise yourselves and perhaps do a sponsored event in Poppy’s memory. Earlier last year when we were waiting to see the consultant at UCH, Poppy told me she wanted to do ‘Race for Life’ this year. It was so sad because I knew that she wouldn’t. Equally when my wonderful colleagues raised a lot of money by doing a sponsored walk for Poppy, so that I had money to take her out and make memories, she suggested that we give it away to CLIC Sarjent. I knew that we needed the money to make the most of the time that we had, but that I’d work hard to honour her wishes by making a website which is Poppy’s rallying call to action! Please help, those we wish to give to really improved our lives in this terribly sad time. We’d like to help them keep giving to other families who only too sadly will inevitably suffer similar tragedies to ours.

A summary of who we are raising money for is on our Just Giving page

  1. To best girl I’ve ever met and the most loving, caring and kind hearted girl in the world. She would always put a smile on your face whatever regardless of the mood. She’d always brighten my day every time I was her. She was a strong and brave girl. I will never be able to forget her, she was one of a kind.
